Course Objectives
Providing participants with contemporary knowledge and ideas about the nature of municipal work both in service and development, and the tools for identifying priorities and basic human needs.
Enabling participants to acquire the skills to analyze and identify priorities and basic needs of society and to balance among funding capacity, managerial capacities and competencies with meeting the needs and essentials of public demands.
Empowering participants to create and develop a partnership among the components of the society to achieve sustainable development.
Enabling participants to acquire the skills to enhance the capabilities of improving relations with the public, how to mobilize community efforts and mechanisms for activating the media, public relations and social networking sites.
Providing participants with the Turkish experience in the work of municipalities and familiarizing them in particular with the experience of the Istanbul municipality.
